How long will it take before I can be admitted to 12&12?
Our goal is to help you as soon as possible. However, sometimes there are waiting lists for residential treatment and transitional living programs. The wait is usually two or three weeks. In order to remain on the waiting list, you must fulfill certain requirements such as calling the admissions screener regularly. Once again, we strive to help you as soon as possible.
Can I have visitors while I’m in treatment?
Residential treatment clients who have reached a certain level in their program are allowed visitors. Your counselor will inform you about these levels and when you will be able to have visitors (usually within the first two weeks). Visitation is on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. You will get more information about visitation guidelines during admission.
How long will I be in treatment?
The recommended length of stay at 12&12 can be a few weeks to a few months depending on the level of symptoms, addiction and usage, and treatment progress. The treatment team evaluates the needs and progress of each client, then recommends the level and length of stay based on those assessments.
Are there groups ⁄ categories of individuals who receive admissions preference over any others?
Yes. Per accreditation standards, 12&12, Inc. gives admissions preference to pregnant IV (intravenous) drug users.

Yes. Any individual, including 12&12 staff may review all of these mentioned by request. Simply email what you would like to review to our administration.
