Why You Should Attend: OSU Center for Health Sciences started Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds in January 2019 in partnership with 12&12, Inc. Held the first Thursday every other month at noon at the 12&12 campus, Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds cover a range of topics in addiction medicine from research, education, training, and clinical care. We invite anyone interested or working within in the field of addiction to attend to learn and interact with practitioners leading the cause of understanding, treating, and preventing substance use disorders in Oklahoma. As the field of Addiction Medicine continues to evolve, OSU-CHS and 12&12 are championing the cause. 12&12 provides a complete continuum of care and life-saving recovery to those suffering from addiction in the largest Comprehensive Community Addiction Recovery Center (CCARC) in the state. OSU-CHS is leading addiction research in the state and implementing cutting-edge addiction medicine knowledge through its Addiction Medicine Clinic on 12&12’s campus. Grand Rounds will be a venue to allow OSU-CHS and 12&12 to disseminate its leading knowledge, as well as forge and strengthen collaboration.
